Register a Domain

Whilst it is not necessary to have your domain(s) registered with WP NET in order to use our hosting services, we do provide domain registration services for those that wish to have their hosting and domain(s) with a single provider. When you sign up for WP NET WordPress hosting, you can choose to transfer your domain to WP NET, or you can leave it with your current registrar.

You can register domains at any time by going to wpnet.nz/domain-register.

Register a Domain

1. Go to wpnet.nz/domain-register
   
2. Search for the domain you wish to register
3. If the domain is available to register, an Add to Cart button will be displayed
4. Suggestions for other domains and TLDs you may wish to register will be displayed
5. Click Add to Cart for any additional domains or TLDs you want to register
6. Complete checkout and payment
7. Domain registration will initiate and you will receive email notifications of progress

WP NET can register the following TLDs:

• .nz
• .co.nz
• .net.nz
• .org.nz
• .geek.nz
• .kiwi.nz
• .com
• .net
• .biz
• .info
• .org

Once the registration has completed you can manage your domain with the Domain Console. To access the Domain Console, go to the Domains page and click the Login to Domain Console button in the sidebar. If this button does not appear or does not work, please open a support ticket and we will set it up for you.
